2025 Book List

For public accountability, I'm keeping up with this laundry list, but I'm mesmerized with delving deeper. I miss cataloging the personal reflections. I'll be leveraging Notion for that and uncovering trends to improve my reading journey. I want to master Notion to have another information tool to marinate thoughts and ignite action. By 12/31/25, I want to exclaim, "I read 200 meaningful titles, start to finish, and grew into a better person by reflecting on the passages and incorporating it into daily actions!" Last Month's Results The scale reads: 145 lbs. Goal: 127 lbs. I can't believe 8 weeks has passed already! Look what I have accomplished within that time: I've earned the Presidential Active Lifestyle Award ! See, I earned myself some golden stars! I could've technically had 7 shiny, golden badges of accomplishment, but I had forgotten to keep track of my steps while I was in Southern CA (The first week of the challenge). I think I actually did more walking during that trip compared to the last 7 weeks of this endeavor. I guess it was silly of me to initiate the challenge before going on the trip. Regardless, I'm content with the results because: I was able to reach my goal. I was dedicated to this endeavor and a positive result came of it. I got the award electronically . I wasn't going to dish out 6 buckos and some change to get the paper one with stickers and a badge. There were many stressful periods during the weeks, but I walked off most of t...

Belt mean no need rope to hold up pants

Yesterday's Results The scale reads: 145 lbs. Goal: 137 lbs. The stupid Wal*mart pedometer reads: 3375 steps, 0.852 mi., 140 calories (Lies again - the pedometer reset with my notice) Other aerobic activities: Snoring :( My ma has one. My future mother-in-law has one. According to one website, "Neoprene belt helps shed inches and fat around the waist. Lose weight naturally around the waistline." So far, no offense to them, I haven't seen it work for either one of them. I honestly never worn belts. Even at a slimmer physique, I didn't care or need to wear belts. To this day, I love wearing baggy jeans, but I never sag. My hope is even if I lose weight, I wouldn't need to go purchasing new baggy jeans. What fitness accessories can help (I do know there are no one-stop-cure-alls out there) lose the weight "naturally?" So far I have ankle weights and small weighted gloves.

2013 Fitness Year in Review Weight on January 1, 2013: 164 lbs. Weight on January 1, 2014: 157 lbs. Aerobic activities endeavored throughout the year: Leslie Sansone Walk-outs ZCUT Rockin' Body 10 Minute Solutions Jessica Smith TV Paula Abdul Jane Fonda Disc golf Roller Derby Boot Camp Ha comenzado el año catorce. Where am I on my fitness journey? I'm starting 2014 with a happy dance because it's looking better than 2013 already. I lost at least 10 lbs. for the wedding. I gained most of it back with loved ones visiting and the fall/wintry holidays. I lost control on the food adventures and got lazy about maintaining the exercise routine. However, I'm mighty proud that the scale didn't display a glaring 164 at the start of 2014. The libations to ring in the new year probably nudged the 156 from 3 days ago to the eyebrow-raising 159 witnessed in the early morning. The stomach settled and mystically I'm at 157. I'll need to weigh...
